The Client
Bioquell are world leaders in bio-decontamination equipment and services for the life sciences and healthcare sectors. Bioquell have developed a unique hydrogen peroxide vapour (HPV) which is now used on an international level to eradicate bacteria, viruses and fungi. They have a global presence and are currently exporting their products to mainland Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The company is listed on the FTSE Fledgling Index of the London Stock Exchange.
The Challenge
Bioquell approached Kwintessential with regards to managing their translation requirements for all of their products and marketing materials. The majority of their content is related to technical product manuals and the localisation of the product software. This work was previously carried out by local offices, but following inconsistent branding and compromised translation quality, Bioquell decided to centralise the process.
Our Solution
Kwintessential proposed a process which addressed certain key challenges which included quality and consistent translations, delivery timescales and costs.
We built a core team of translators with relevant technical expertise for each of the target markets. This team were assigned responsibility for the creation of glossaries and terminology sheets for each language.
Regular communication and quality assessments ensured that the required translation quality and consistency standards were met and delivered to timescale.
