The Client

Hunter Boot is a luxury, high-end clothing and footwear company that has a diverse client base from the old fashioned traditional supporters of the brand to the fashionistas who support their new and exciting ranges.


The Challenge

Hunter approached Kwintessential as they were launching their new website and brands and wanted to localise the content to the French, German, and Spanish markets. This included all of the product ranges, sales materials, SEO keyword lists and additional website copy such as translation of terms and conditions as well as transactional emails.


Our Solution

Our solution was a two-part system where the legal terminology and transactional translations were translated by one team of specialist translators, and the product copy, descriptions and sales materials were transcreated and localised by a team of specialist copywriters and proofreaders.

Transcreation is a process of adapting a message from one language to another, while maintaining its intent, style, tone and cultural context.

This was to ensure that the content of the site was optimised to the target market and that the product descriptions and categories were SEO keyword- optimised.
