Foreign Office Language School Closed
A secure government centre which gives language training to GCHQ staff fighting the “war on terror” is to be closed by the Foreign Office to meet government spending cuts imposed by Gordon Brown when he was chancellor.The Foreign Office language school offers the security services, diplomats and MPs specialised individual lessons in 41 languages, including Farsi and Arabic, as well as most European languages, by ” security vetted” staff in Whitehall.
