Olympic Song Multi-Lingual - Choir / Hymn
Just another mile in The Olympic Music Maratone !This is basically an experimental Bi-Lingual-Version sung simultaneously in two languages (English and Greek).Before we do the Five-Language-Version, we thought well first try out the Two-Language-Version for which we have the lyrics.Katharina Machlelis did a fine job of translating the original English-Lyrics of The Olympic Song CELEBRATE HUMANITY into Greek. The translation sounds just right and has the same grandeur of the the original English lyrics, befitting the Olympic Spirit.We are planning to have the lyrics translated into atleast 5 languages and apart from individual language versions, well definitely make a Multi-Lingual-Version where the singing will be in several languages, sung simultaneously.Imagine you are in an international airport or in a truely cosmopolitan city where you would hear different languages spoken, all at once. If your are a multi-linguist , your would understand what we are trying to achieve.
