Winari Testimony #8: "Education Changes Destinies." Part of series of professional videos about a World Learning International Program in Ecuador.
Education changed Olmedo Iza's destiny. As a child, he was out of school for three years working. Then, through a government program, Olmedo was able to attend high school. He remembers both the struggles of being the only Indian attending the school and the triumphs of succeeding in academics. He is now the coordinator of the Sierra region for Winari. He is now determined to see the children of his community given access to the same education opportunities that changed his life.
