C2P2: Cultural Competency in Child Welfare
This is an abbreviated version of a slightly longer program I produced, directed, and edited for a Washington State non-profit child welfare agency. It proposes social workers take into account a family's cultural norms when assessing their ability to care for children. One family's cultural norms may differ from another's without resulting in less successful parenting. Comprised of a series of talking heads, it was recorded in studio and on location on DVCAM by a three-person crew, then edited on FCP. 3rd parties scored the original music and rendered the audio and visual F/X I designed.
